Back in September, I attended an event for bloggers called Blog On, you can read about it all here. In short, the idea behind it is to help bloggers improve skills by the way of workshops and to bring influencers and brands together to make connections. I had the best time!
Whilst there I spotted something that I knew my youngest offspring, Reilly would absolutely love! The Hot Wheels Drone. Anything RC and he’s in his happy place for hours, team that with his favourite car Hot Wheels and I knew it was a winning combo. When I was offered one for us to review there was no chance of turning it down. Read more
Self Care Tips For Mums
Self-care is probably the one thing us mums are completely crap at. Let’s face it. Pulling together a last-minute Blue Peter style craft gadget for homework you didn’t know existed. Or, fixing a broken toy to half resemble what it actually looked like before. And said child owner being completely happy with squinting slightly through teary eyes to see beloved toy ‘mended’ with crusty nail glue found at the bottom of your handbag. We nail it!

I know all too well that having a date night is often put on the back burner. Being a mum of a large family the odds of one of the kids coming down with something gross is pretty high. Not only do you have to prepare yourself to get ready, the cost of date night can often be money ‘best’ used elsewhere. Or, by the time date night comes around what you really want to do is wrap up on the sofa in your PJams and watch tv. Read more
I flipping love a board game. I am by no means opposed to the kids procrastinating on tablet technology, love me for it or not but I am not a mum that puts restrictions on screen time. However, give me a board game, a rainy day and a carpet picnic and THE.GAME.IS.ON! Read more
Here goes..The Brutal Truth.
You give birth, your insides feel as though they have fallen out. Your stomach is no longer the vessel of life, it’s more comparable to that of a wrinkly Chinese shar-pai. Your rib cage rattles with wind and your pee will reduce you to tears.
Your bundle of joy is beautifully made up of your eyes and perfect nose with your other half’s cheeky smile and dimpled chin. And then, there are those times when they could easily be mistaken for an 80’s werebear (remember those?) Read more
At one time in the past, being a blogger was something that people were but didn’t actually realise it. They would create a free account on a random platform and just write, mainly for themselves but occasionally to keep family updated on current affairs. Over the years it began to change and blogging became ‘A thing.’
Writers began to niche in; Mummy blogger, Parent blogger, Lifestyle blogger, Beauty blogger, Influencer. The list is ever changing and the labels can be somewhat creative. And some believe, over done. Read more

You know that song, the famous one, the one I, as a foodie tend to sing when a slice of carrot cake presents itself to me. Or when you’re in the coop and they have a double pack of cream slices in the reduced section “Food glorious food, da, da, da da da daa.” Being a fussy eater is one concept that I just don’t understand.
When I was little we all ate the same, you would never see my mum cooking separate meals. “If you don’t like it, tough!” And do you know what, damn wasn’t she right! It’s one rule I wish I’d adopted from the start and didn’t. Read more
At the end of September I will be attending my first ever blog meet up hosted by the Blog On Conference. It’s a meet up organised for Bloggers/Vloggers to get to know like minded people and to also gain knowledge from various speakers. To say I’m nervously excited is an understament and in an attempt to let attendees get to know each other a little better, BlogOn organised the BlogOn Christmas Jumper Linky, which is a list of 15 questions.
